The assessment is designed as one connected digital pathway, ensuring support before, during and after speaking with a Raiys clinician.
An ADHD assessment is more than finding out whether your child has a diagnosis. It can help uncover why they may be struggling, recognise their unique strengths and challenges, and identify ways to help them feel more confident, understood and supported.
Whatever the outcome, our aim is to help your child feel understood, build confidence and receive the right support to thrive.

Your child’s video appointment follows NICE guidelines and uses the structured Young DIVA-5 interview. You’ll be involved throughout, although the clinician may offer your child or young person some private time during the assessment, where appropriate and with agreement from both you and your child.
The clinician will share initial feedback at the end of the appointment. The diagnostic outcome and written report will follow within 14 days, allowing time to review information from parents, carers, childminders and schools alongside the interview findings. Some cases may require additional specialist clinical review. Every Raiys diagnosis is reviewed and signed off by a consultant psychiatrist.
Every neurodevelopmental assessment should leave you feeling understood, informed and confident in what comes next — that’s the experience we believe everyone deserves, and what you can expect from Raiys.

Preparing for your child’s ADHD assessment involves more than filling in a few forms. Their experiences, health history and everyday challenges at home and at school all help the clinician build a clearer picture.
Our secure digital portal makes this easier. Complete questionnaires at your own pace, save your progress and return whenever you’re ready, without losing your answers. Everything is organised in one place.
Complete the SNAP-IV, WFIRS-P and health forms online, save your answers and pick up where you left off.
Upload supporting information and complete identity checks directly through the portal, keeping everything together.
Raiys invites your child’s school or college to share their observations through a dedicated digital questionnaire, without you having to manage or collect it.

You'll receive a comprehensive diagnostic report within 14 days, explaining the clinical outcome, how the clinician reached their conclusion and recommendations for your child's next steps. You'll be able to securely access the report through the Raiys app to view or download it.
