    Life with ADHD

    QuestionsReliefNew Understanding

Being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult can bring mixed emotions. Relief at finally having answers, questions about what comes next, and sometimes grief for the years spent without understanding why.

A diagnosis is just the beginning. At Raiys, support continues beyond your assessment, helping you understand your ADHD, explore your options and navigate everyday life with greater confidence.

How Can I Manage Everyday Life with ADHD?

Understanding how ADHD affects your emotions, relationships and routines can help you find practical strategies that work for you.

Should I Share My ADHD Diagnosis?

Sharing your diagnosis is a personal choice. It can help family, friends and colleagues understand your needs, but you decide who to tell and when.

What Support Can I Get at Work?

An ADHD diagnosis can help you identify workplace adjustments for focus, organisation and productivity. You may be entitled to reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.

    Is Medication the Only Option?

Medication can help, but it isn’t right for everyone. NICE guidelines also recommend information and support. Raiys doesn’t currently prescribe medication but offers practical support beyond diagnosis.

    BeChange PROGRAMME

A Personalised Journey For Every Individual

No two ADHD brains are the same, and neither are our support plans. BeChange is Raiys’ clinically designed behaviour change programme, tailored to your assessment results, priorities and ongoing progress. It offers flexible, personalised support across mental health, nutrition, fitness, resilience and lifestyle, making your journey continue long after your report arrives.

    Nutrition

    Nutrition and Weight Management

    Healthy eating · Weight management

Eating well with ADHD isn’t about willpower. Skipped meals, impulsive snacking and appetite changes from medication are common. Our evidence-based nutrition support offers simple routines and practical strategies.

    Mind Matters

    Mental and Emotional Wellbeing

    Thinking · Emotions · Relationships

ADHD can bring intense emotions, racing thoughts and a harsh inner critic. Our support helps you understand how your brain works, manage overwhelm and regulate emotions.

    Move Medicine

    Movement, Mobility and Fitness

Mobility · Fitness · Pain management

Movement can help with focus, mood, restlessness and sleep, but ADHD can make routines hard to stick to. Our flexible, varied approach helps you build fitness and improve mobility.

    Health

    Healthy Living Foundations

    Sleep · Social wellbeing

With ADHD, the everyday basics can feel like the hardest part. Bedtimes drift, routines fall apart, and it’s easy to feel disconnected or unsure where you’re heading. Using proven techniques, we’ll help you build healthy foundations.

    Resilience

    Resilience and Positive Psychology

    Mindfulness · Confidence · Motivation

Many people with ADHD have spent years being told what they’re getting wrong, and that can wear down confidence and self-belief. Our support turns the focus to what’s strong, not just what’s hard.

    Life

    Living Well and Thriving

    Habits · Work & money · Wellbeing

ADHD affects more than focus. It can shape your energy, habits, relationships and how you look after yourself day to day. Our holistic approach looks at the whole picture, helping you understand what works for you.
